"My wife and I just got back from celebrating our honeymoon by riding beautiful Baja with the crew from Baja Bound.  Sure beats sitting on a beach all day drinking cocktails out of a coconut!  Tim and Jennifer, thank you for your generosity in making our trip a special one, we'd like to come back for our 1st year anniversary!
We can't imagine riding Baja any other way - bags waiting in our rooms after a long day of riding, excellent food and lodging, bikes prepped for us in the morning, and expert guides showing us trails we'd never find on our own.  We'd like to say its the trip of a lifetime but then thats assuming we won't be back!  Good luck racing this year!"  -  Matt and Ti, Portland, OR.

"The better you ride the more technical trails Tim Morton can take you on.  He watches you ride and adjusts the loop for your skill level.  FAHQ MC went on the sickest trails he could find and we loved every minute of it.
Well worth the money and better than listening to sombody elses noisy kids at a resort!"
- Jerry Bernardo - FAHQ MC - Victorville, Ca

"Tim/Jennifer, You and your team (Jim, Aaron, Flako) did an awesome job for our 2007 Illinois BAJA 1000 Race team. The XR650R was set-up just like you said and it performed flawlessly. The two support trucks and support crew took care of all our needs plus they were great people to be with and their BAJA experiance helped our team finish.  306-X could not have finished this event as well as we did without you all.  Rolf, Scott, Jeff & Ben will have many stories and memories to last a lifetime. Have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year"  -  Len Hofmann Team MGR

(post Baja 1000 letter)
Tim,  Congrats on your Factory Honda Ride and an amazing finish.  It appears Honda did indeed make the right choice.  Our whole team was pulling for you guys.

I thought your podium speech was the best we heard that day- super real, humble, and thanks for sharing the story. It gave me goosebumps.
We had an amazing, magical time.  You were our Obi-Wan Kenobi through the whole experience.  I want to thank you again.  Literally, we couldn't have done it without you.  May a thousand blessings flow your way.  I'm truly inspired by your generosity."  -  Scott - CA

"I just returned from a 5 day trip with Baja Bound and am already looking forward to my next trip.   Tim and his crew are experts at what they do.  This is Baja with all of the enjoyment and none of the headaches. The variety of riding, the lodging, and the food were all part of great experience.
You see beautiful country and get a real feel how the people in Baja live, all from the seat of a dirt bike.
Tim,Jim,Tom,& Pete were fun and interesting to be with, both on and off the trail.
Thanks to Jennifer for putting together a great group!"  -  Dave C. - California

" What a great trip!  Everything went well shipping our bikes to and from San Diego.  The riding was way better than I had envisioned.  I thought that it might be geared more for junior level riders, but it wasn't.  I like the daily crash fund it put someincentives on not crashing.  There is some awesome scenery in Baja.  The hotels were very nice and the meals were also great. Mike and I are already trying to figure out how and when to get back down there for maybe a northern Baja ride with you."
Thanks for a great trip - Scott ("Mr. Oregon Guy")

"It's obvious that you don't need anyone else telling you what a great job you do.  I am sitting in a hotel room after a long meeting and dreaming of Baja, looking at the photos of my recent trip with you (wish I took more), and trying in my head to schedule the next trip back there on another great adventure.
Thank you for a very "bitchin" time.  That must be Tim's favorite adjective, "bitchin".  And, it was!  From the riding, to the company, to the bikes, the scenery, the people, the food, and all of the other stuff. Everything was "bitchin".  Keep it up.  I can't wait to come back."
Mark K. - Lake Forest, IL.      (and thanks for the fantastic gift Mark!  Tim M.)

"Tim and BB gang- Thanks for the awesome trip.  I can't decide which was better- the riding, the food, or the partying!
Here are a couple of pics you might include on your website.  My favorite is of Tim and the camel.  Mathew put some more online at......
Already looking forward to the next time the guys from Oregon can get Baja Bound!"
Ryan J. - OR

"Hey Tim, just wanted to drop you a line and say thanks again for another awesome trip through Baja!
Things were a little "fuzzy" Saturday morning when the wake up call came at the San Nicolas.   I recall thinking "I could sleep in that van", and the next thing I knew we were on the road!
Once again you provided us with wicked trails, and great places to stay, eat and of course drink!
I think we have enough stories to last us until we can all talk our wives into letting us go play in Mexico again!    Thanks again, [Applause]  -  Lyle R. one of the crazy Canuks (eh)

"Hey Tim, I wanted to take the time to say thanks for the great trip.  This was something I wanted to do for a long time.  Now I can't wait to do it again.  You guys sure put on a great ride and provided a great service.  You guys had all the bases covered.  I also want to thank Jen, Jim, Dean, and Tom,  you guys are great." - Aaron - Santa Cruz, CA - Expert level rider

"Thank all of you at Baja Bound for the fantastic trip.  I never knew Northern Baja had such beauty from the beaches to the pine mountain lakes.  Tim and his crew were all just great and so were the other guest on the ride.  Thanks again.  I look forward to maybe a 4 day ride next year." - Chris R. - California

"Just wanted to let you know that we had a great time out in Baja with BajaBound. It felt more like a group of buddies than a tour.  Jim did a very good and generous job showing us lots of his special "cache", it was appreciated.  The supercross was a great race we ended up partying in San Diego the next day and had a great time.  I will certainly spread the word and with a little luck we may be back!  Thanks again" - Andre F. - Ontario, Canada - Expert level rider

"I just wanted to express my apreciation for making our trip everything I had hoped for.  You truly showed your comitment to your customers above and beyond the call of duty.  Say hello to Chilly and the rest of your crew and hope you enjoy a prosperous new year.  And I will see you again.  Best regards" -  Randy R. - Florida - Expert level rider

"hey tim and jen,  i just wanted to say thanks for everything on my tour!!!  you guys have all the bases covered!!!  i had a blast!!!  you thought of everything, you even scheduled great weather for the trip!!!!  thanks for a complete and thorough fun-filled blast of a time!!!  the bikes are great!!  you and your team are very knowledgeable and prepared for everything!!!!  what a wide variety of riding too!!!  i enjoyed every stop along the way too!!!  that was my first tour, but not my last!!!!!!  you run a top notch tour!!!!  fun, friendly,etc... what else could ya ask for?!  thanks again!!" -  bob d. - Oklahoma

"Just wanted to say thanks for the great tour back in October.  You delivered as promised.  Lots of tight trails, good variety of other trails, compact fun group.  I especially enjoyed the pace of riding.  Even though I was the slowest of the group, I loved the way the trip was focussed on lots of great fast paced riding.
Mike L. did his chase job very well and never once pressured me or made me feel intimidated.
Although I understand the danger, I also enjoyed our paved ride through Ensenada.  It added to the cultural part of the experience.
Jennifer, although we never met, I appreciate your attention to detail.  Your calls to follow up regarding hotel rates, confirming check-in etc are an indication you really care about customer service.
I hope the business continues to be successful and that you don't lose the joy and passion for riding.  I hope to be down again real soon to ride with Baja Bound.  Thank very much." - Brian J. - Edmonton AB Canada

"Hey guys, I know I’m a bit late but I just wanted to let you know what an incredible time we all had on the trip.  Seriously, I personally could not have imagined a more perfect all around trip in my book.  Great riding each day combined with some fun camaraderie and cervezas in the evening cannot be beat.
All of the people working the trip from your side were great and a lot of fun – that’s important – plus they were able to deal with the variety of skill levels sothat the good riders had fun but the slower ones weren’t left behind.  I know sometimes that’s a challenge!
Anyways, I can’t wait for the next trip, which I’ll have to start working on once this wedding is over with.  Take care and have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas." - Andrei O. - California

"I wish to express my appreciation for the ride we enjoyed last week. It was awesome to the max! Everything from the food, lodging, professionalism and attention to every detail made the trip so very enjoyable. I just received your card which expressed your hope that we would ride again. It isn't an issue will we, but how soon can we get one scheduled! There is nothing in business as important as a satisfied customer. We are and will be scheduling another trip next Spring. Some of the group want to ride the Cabo run, but while I have ample butt cheeks I'm not sure they're up to the task. Thanks again," - Gary B. - California - Intermediate level rider.

"Tim and Jen,  This has been a long time coming, but I just wanted to drop you guys an email letting you know how much we enjoyed our trip last February. My brother and I intend to come back for a little more of this with our sons. Tim, you were a great host and guide. The attention to detail, safety, and fun by you and your staff was great. You guys truly put together a "trip of a lifetime" that we will always remember. Every day the group kept saying "it can't get any better than this" and the next day was always better. Again, thanks for everything. You guys were the consummate professionals and exemplified what customer service is all about. Please relay this to Chilly and the rest of the crew.  Thanks," - "Big Daddy" Jim D. - Tennessee - Intermediate level rider.

(re: Race Rental for Baja 500 event)
"Now that I've had a few days to get my work under control, I wanted to take a moment to thank you personally for all you did this last week. The Baja 500 race, as well as the week leading up to it was an absolutely incredible experience, and I thank you both for your hard work and organization in bringing it together. Not only did you provide the coaching, advice, logistics, motorcycles, maintenance, transportation, lodging, gas and snacks, you also connected me with the two best riding partners a person could hope for. I know our team was a bit unruly at moments, but I know that we all deeply appreciate your dedication to our safety and success. Tim and Jenn, thank you for everything!
As Kent said in an email I got after my return, "I will never forget it (the race). It's not often you get a second chance at a dream and actually have it turn out the way you hoped it might. What a great feeling."  Ditto.... Warm Regards," - Ward - Vermont

"Hi to all the Morton's!  Just realized that I had forgotten to thank you both for an AWESOME! ride this year, I had a fantastic time and felt like I could have ridden on forever! Carrying less weight and being physically fit, combined with a great group of more experienced riders made world of difference. I will definitely becoming back for more.
Thank you also for the gift voucher, you're way too kind but I will certainly put it to good use burning up the trails in my neck of the woods.
Until the next time??" - Kevin E. - California - Intermediate level rider.

"Thank all of you for making my Baja trip more than I ever expected. The combination of a great group, great weather, awesome terrain, and a great tour guide....I mean "adventure" guide. You all went out of your way to make sure your customers were satisfied and that means a lot to me. My business Am-Sports also involves selling fun and is reliant on extremely high customer service. I can see that your business philosophy is the same. I haven't laughed as hard as I laughed the night we were at the coastal village in a long time. I'm planning to come back again next year!  Keep up the great work!  Sincerely," - Mark "Howie" H. - California - Expert level rider.

"I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the ride. We just returned from Cabo today. We had a blast. The baja trip was just what I needed. You and Jennifer do a great job. I cleansed 12 months of stress on that ride. I loved everything right down to the fish tacos and the Mexican cop, Ha! Happy trails... " -  Ken A. - Kentucky - Intermediate level rider.

"I've done two trips with Tim and Baja Bound Adventures.  Once with total strangers (who were great friends by the end of the trip) and once with my local riding buddies.    How much fun did we have?  Enough that my wife and I are going on their "Hooters on Scooters" ride later this year!   <grin>"  - Randy B. - Oregon - Intermediate level rider.

"First, thanks for the great time!  I really enjoyed all of the riding and your knowledge of the area is amazing. To me - seeing your wedding pictures at Mikes really puts the amount of time you spend in Baja in perspective! The whole ride seemed well organized and allowed me to just enjoy the riding and scenery. I enjoyed all of the riding really, but the last day was a complete blast with the lack of dust and firm damp roads.  I think those conditions are called "perfect".  Here are a few photos of the snow and a couple of others I thought were good.  Ride safe," - Mathew C. - California - Expert level rider.

(endorsement letter)
I take part in the most grueling ocean races known to man, but I must admit Tim Morton put a hurtin on me and my friends as we let northern Baja know that we were in town. Great leadership through the best trails in Baja by day and Cervesas and stories by night!
When I go offshore to take part in solo offshore racing events my support team is as organized as any military operation. When we have 30 or so corporate sponsors and Tommy Hilfiger as a title sponsor they expect professional delivery and great results. To my trained eye I can see Tim has no less requirements for his operation. As a client you won't even notice a lot of the detail that is happening around you, whether baby-sitting during a night on the town or the best prepared bike you've ever ridden.
When I can find time to dry off and get dust in my hair, I gravitate to the deserts of Southern CA and Baja to fulfill my need for ongoing adrenaline pump and beautiful terrain. Baja Bound makes this an easy thing to do.
Tim and Jennifer deserve to charge a lot more for their service than they do, but fortunately for us consumers they have some competitors that keep things a bit in check.
I?ll be back,

"Thanks for an awesome time! That was probably one of my all time favorite vacations!"
Polly G. - Ohio - Novice level rider.

"Please allow me to extend my thanks for both of your efforts this past week. Most certainly this event well-exceeded Polly and my expectations. Your efforts in planning, patience, completeness, and safety consciousness shined through from the first day. The most critical item however, the "ride-factor", is without peer.  Well done!!!" - Tim G. - Ohio - Intermediate level rider.

"I just wanted to write to you and thank you again for such an incredible experience. I have told everyone that if I said a thousand times how awesome the ride was....it still wouldn't justify it. The accommodations, the service, the bikes, and the people were all top notch. The riding, however, was the most impressive though. I can't say enough how incredible all of the riding was from the two-track, the roads, and especially all of the single-track!! The last day with Scott and Stan was so awesome, 60+ miles of some kick-ass trail!! We really appreciate it!! Scott and I are planning to return within a year or two....or as soon as my wife will let me!!  Thanks again!!" - Chuck "El Crasho N'egro" - W.Virginia - Expert level rider.

"I had a really great time on my Baja Bound ride! Check out my photos and story!" - The MicroWizards Baja Bound Adventure, March 2000

"...the main course was epic trail-riding, and lots of it. ...our grins stretched between both ears from only the first day in the saddle. By the fourth day we had achieved trail-riding nirvana. ...In the US you'd be thrown in jail, and possibly crucified, for riding on the beach. In Baja you can do it for miles on end with no ramifications other than an adrenaline rush. ...we all knew we were fortunate to be experiencing such an epic day of camaraderie and riding. Yes, it's a lot of money, but when you add up all the expenses and consider the luxury of a dependable guide and support staff, it's hard to believe Baja Bound makes a profit" -CYCLE NEWS magazine, June 2000
"...I have to confess that when Tim Morton of Baja Bound invited me on his Mexican adventure tour, I immediately envisioned a bunch of flat, cactus lined dirt roads in the desert. Boy did Tim prove me wrong! ...The rental bike selection consists of an arsenal of bulletproof Honda XR's, available in 250, 400, or 600cc engine sizes. ...which is very reasonable considering the excellent condition of the motorcycles that are offered (referring to the cost) ...Single-track can often substitute many of the fire roads, and trust us - Morton can make it as gnarly as you want it to be." - DIRT RIDER magazine story, February '00
"...Morton runs his tour business much like he does his race efforts, with massive preparation and well-organized support crews. ...You can either ride the two-track race course or some truly epic single-tracks, because Morton knows them all. ...In short, Baja Bound does everything to make sure you stand on the top of the podium of fun." - DIRT BIKE magazine, October 1998
"...Baja Bound had provided an excellent ride and service that would please even the pickiest of riders. You won't go hungry and you'll always get a great nights sleep. As we rolled across the border I was already looking forward to our next Baja excursion." - CYCLE NEWS magazine, October 1997
"The trip was the best adventure vacation I've ever had. ...and believe it or not the relaxation I experienced is still having it's effects on me and those around me. Your crew, the stops for snacks and lunch, places we spent the night, all were absolutely fabulous... Sincerely, your new friend." - Terry B. - Oregon - Intermediate level rider
"...I had so much fun that for the past week, I've got withdrawals! When I start thinking of the ride again I get depressed. That's when I force myself to start thinking about next years ride and I pull out of my depression and work on getting a serious Baja woody! I like to talk about my trip to my friends and all I can tell them is that I've never had so much fun on a dirtbike in my life!" - Dave F. - Maryland - Expert level rider
"Thanks for the great Baja adventure! My wife and I have ridden in Baja several times on others tours, but you showed us routes and sights we had never seen before. Laguna Hanson followed by Ramona's gas station - what fun! We especially appreciated your ability to read the varied levels of riders so that the more experienced were challenged while my wife did not feel threatened. It is one of the few Baja trips (with other companies) on which she was not injured. We will return!" - Ron V. - New Jersey - Novice level rider
"My expectation of Baja was rolling hills with sage brush and hard packed dirt. But much to our surprise, Tim knew how to find more, a lot more! ....all of Tim's bikes are immaculately prepared. Unlike typical rental bikes, all of his bikes had scratch-free plastic and were set up the same way. Even the Acerbis handguards looked new, all of the levers were straight, and they all had brand new rear tires. In fact, if the bikes weren't numbered, it would be hard to tell them apart..." - Tom S. - Tennessee - Expert level rider, Exerpts from his ride report posted on the net.
"I wanted to thank you for leading one of the most outstanding adventures I have ever participated in. I have had the good fortune of participating in organized bicycle rides, scuba diving trips, and many motorcycle activities both street and dirt. None of the past activities offered the total package that you and your support staff afforded each of us during the days we rode Baja. The planning that went into making everything work efficiently was evident. The outstanding condition of the bikes, the choice of sites to stay each night, and best of all, the riding areas were super." - Tony W. - Arkansas - Expert level rider
"I just had to write and let you know I had a GREAT time in Baja! ...You and your staff put on a great trip. ...thanks for all of your hospitality." - Terry G. - California - Expert level rider
"I learned to ride a motorcycle in Baja 3 tours before joining Baja Bound. I never had so much fun as I did on your tour. Baja is endless as long as you are with a guide like you that knows the trails. It was my nephew's first time off-road and your sweep rider kept him safe AND stoked! The homemade Tequila at Mikes in not to be missed and the lunches were the best I have ever had on the trail. I can't wait for your Mision Ride in '99 to Loreto. I'll be there and I'm bringing friends!" - Len B. - Connecticut - Novice level rider
"I've ridden in Baja with you about 10 times, and every time you show us new, great places and trails. But every time I try to ride Baja on my own I get lost. You have a lifetime sponsorship from Applied as long as you keep showing me all the great areas in Baja that you know! I'll even buy the first round at Mike's bar!" - John Duffy - California - Owner, Applied Racing Products - Expert level rider
"Please add this to your collection of thank you letters that undoubtedly grows after every trip. Brian and I both had one of the best riding experiences of our lives last weekend. The way you handled every aspect of the ride was more than we expected. It couldn't have been any better. Thanks for everything." - Mike Garrett - Parts Unlimited So. Cal. Sales Rep. - Expert level rider
"...It was, by far, the most enjoyable off-road ride I've ever been on. ...everything was first class, talk about spoiled. We rode beautiful two-track trails down the Pacific coast and challenging single-track in the mountains near Mikes Sky Ranch. If you have never ridden Baja, treat yourself. If you have and dread the planning and organization, call Baja Bound!" - Brian C. - California - from a letter printed in Cycle News, May 2000
"...My compliments to you and your crew (and Jen), we could not have asked for a better group to take care of us. The bikes, the trails, the food, the logistics... everything was what we had hoped for and more. There is no doubt we chose the right company to take us to Baja!!" - David B. - Maryland - Expert level rider
