It's almost boring around here..... Congrats again to Gabe Williams for taking 1st OverAll motorcycle and Keith Webster, 2nd OA motorcycle, at the Mexican 1000 "Rally". Both raced Solo on Baja Bound Moto prepped & supported Hondas!
It doesn't end there.... Ted Baker & Nick Peterson teamed on another Baja Bound Moto Honda to take 1st place in the 250cc category and Solo racer James Webster made a strong finish making it 4 bikes supported and 4 finishers!

June '10 - Another successful Baja 500 race for Baja Bound racers!
We supported 3 motorcycle teams and all 3 finished! No crashes, no flats, no downtime, and perfect running Honda 450x bikes! Just the way we like it!
Some teams have post-race stories filled with adventure and drama. We like boring post-race stories. No drama means everything went as planned!

May '10 - Baja Bound Boss Tim Morton along with race partner Jonah Street (from WA State) place 1st OverAll motorcycle at the NORRA Mexican 1000!

Aug. '09 - Vegas To Reno race report
Les and Lyle, a couple of our regular Baja Bound tour clients (see March Eh!) from Alberta, Canada, made a last minute decision to race the Vegas To Reno race with us and went home with the 1st OverAll Amatuer and 1st +40 Amatuer trophies! Super sweet for a couple ice-racers doing their 1st ever desert race (an incredible Baja Bound 450x and support helped too!).

Utah Bound Moto! Unless you were one of the 8 riders on the Utah ride, you really missed out on an awesome trailride. Plan now to be Utah Bound with us June 2010.

Baja Bound Moto co-owner (and the lovely voice you speak to when calling Baja Bound) Jennifer Morton once again 1st Woman Expert at the 12 Hours Of Glen Helen!
Jen and her teammates Alisa Prince and Holly Breck charged hard for 12 Hours topping the field for the second consecutive year!

Baja Beach Bash with special guests Johnny Campbell (moto legend), Cameron Steele (TV dork, Trophy Truck racer, and Kingpin of the Desert Assisins), Tim Morton (yours truly), and other special guests! A fun time for all and great fundraiser for Racers And Ranchers and the Santa Marta orphanage in Baja.

June '09 - Baja 500 race report - Total success again!
We supported 5 bikes for this race, all 5 finished, all bikes were flawless!
We ended up with 1st and 2nd place Ironman racers (solo riders), a fantastic finish in the Open Pro class with 2 Canadians on one of our 450X's, and a great finish in +30 Pro by the first ever Baja racer from Portugal!

Dec. '08 - Baja 1000 Race Report!
# 10x - The Factory Honda/JCR "B" Team finsihed 2nd OverAll motorcycle! Tim Morton, at age 41, again finishing strong for the second year in a row. No other Tour operator comes close!
         # 16x - The Baja Bound Moto/JCR "C" Team finished 6th OverAll motorcycle! An awesome ride for the young guns and Ron the speedy Vet! The JCR (Johnny Campbell Racing) bike built by Baja Bound worked like a charm (but that's typical for Hondas really!).
       # 306x - The Baja Bound Rental Racers from IL., In., and NC., had a few hard spills but pulled it off with a strong 5th in Vet Pro class!
         # 169x - The ALL WOMAN Team including Baja Bound co-owner Jennifer Morton on the Honda 250x ripped it to the Finish becoming year-end Pro Class 20 Champs!   This is the 1st time in history and all woman team has won a Baja class Championship!   Other teams make claims of being single race champs with a woman on the team for a few miles, but they have always had the hard riding done by men. Not this time! No faking it to gain attention by these racer chicks!

Oct. '08 - Hey all you XBOX 360 players! The new SCORE Baja 1000 game was released today! When you Start the game using a motorcycle the CRF450 it begins with is a Baja Bound Moto copy, number 14x (Tim Mortons # from the '07 Baja 1000), and the rider is Tim Morton !! Very cool!

Oct. '08 - The Baja 1000 is just around the corner!
Baja Bound owner/operator Tim Morton was picked again by Johnny Campbell and Bruce Ogilvie to represent Honda / JCR Racing on their Factory Honda CRF450X "B" Team bike! Tim will be teamed with Caleb Goselaar, Timmy Weigand, and Quinn Cody going for the Win in Baja.

Not only is Tim Morton racing for Team JCR/Honda, but Baja Bound Moto & Johnny Campbell Racing entered into an agreement for BBM to build a CRF450X for new Team JCR/Honda members Colton Udahl, Justin Seeds, Bryce Stavron, and Ron Wilson (the Vet of the team).
This new team is being called the JCR/Honda "C" Team and is a stepping stone for 3 young possible future Champs getting into Baja racing.

Sept. '08 - Baja Bound Moto co-owner Jennifer Morton will be racing the '08 SCORE Baja 1000 on a Honda CRF 250x with 3 other women racers. They are in the Pro 250cc class # 169x. With a good finish they could become the first ever all woman motorcycle team to be year-end class Champs!

Nov. '07 - The Baja 1000 race was INCREDIBLE!
The American Honda sponsored # 14x CRF450x Team of Tim Morton (Baja Bound Moto owner/operator), Ron Wilson, Jason Trubey, Caleb Gosselar, and Jonah Street scored 2nd OverAll motorcycle in the Baja 1000!
We were picked by Hondas Johnny Campbell and Bruce Ogilvie to represent Honda Motorcycles on their Factory Honda CRF450X "B" Team bike.
The "A" Team was of course the main Honda Team of Campbell, Hengeveld, Norman, and Bell who took home the OverAll Win as most expected would happen.
Not only did we Finish 2nd to the Honda "A" Team, but we also beat the Factory KTM Team!
Very few people ever get an opportunity like this, to be a Factory Honda racer. We got the chance and we know we made ourselves and many people, including Honda, very proud.
This was a race that I (Tim) will remember for the rest of my days.

Aug. '07 - Baja Bound owner/operator Tim Morton along with teammate Ron Wilson took the +30 Pro class Win at the Vegas To Reno race! They rode a really nice Precision Concepts built CRF450X.

May '07 - Robert, Dave, Dave, and Eric... four buddies with different levels of Baja experience took on and conquered the Baja 500 on a sweet CRF450X Baja Bound Rental Racer!

May '07 - Check it out!!! Baja Bound Moto co-owner Jennifer Morton raced the '07 SCORE Baja 500 race! The Team of all women riders included lead rider Anna Cody (who rode SOLO at the '06 Baja 1000 and Finished!), Stacey Doerksen, and Jennifer. They raced a CRF450X in the 450cc pro Class, # 102x, they finished mid-pack, there were no crashes, and everyone had a great time!

Nov. '06 - Baja Bound owner/operator Tim Morton raced the Baja 1000 with teammates Ron Wilson, Scott Myers, and Steve Garnet. They were the 2nd fastest bike overall for the 1st half of the race and the 3rd fastest bike over the 2nd half of the race but ended up a disappointing (to the riders) 5th OverAll at the Finish Line, 2nd in the +30 Pro class. Even with the fast riding of all riders on the team a very long downtime at the 1/2 way Pit stop (mechanical repair) was the Teams downfall.

June '06 - Scott Johnson and Matt Davidson, both from Indy, Indiana, ripped it up at the '06 Baja 500 race! Another sucessful Baja Bound Rental Racer Team!

Nov. '05 - Baja Bound owner/operator Tim Morton along with teammates Salvador Hernandez, Alfredo Contreras, and Jason Trubey finished 1st place 250cc Pro and 4th overall bike at last weeks SCORE Baja 1000 off road race. They rode a Pro Circuit CRF250X.
Really, no joke, 4th overall motorcycle on a little 250cc four stroke against a field of mostly XR650R bikes!

Sept. '05 - Check out this link to a story about our friend Patrick Healy who rode the '05 Baja 500 all by himself. It was his first long Baja race. He did not use our Rental Racer program but he's not a Baja "newbie" either having ridden a few thousand miles on Baja Bound Adventure rides. Healy photos from the Baja 500. June '05 - The SCORE Baja 500 race took place last weekend and Baja Bound owner Tim Morton had two teams running. They scored 1st place 250cc Pro (8th overall fastest bike) riding a CRF250X and also 10th in the +30 Pro class riding a 1200cc BMW.

Feb. '05 - Baja Bound owner/operator Tim Morton along with teammates Salvador Hernandez and Jason Trubey finished 1st place 250cc Pro and 5th overall bike at last weeks SCORE San Felipe 250 off road race.

Dec. '04 - Going riding and racing with the crew from Dirt Rider magazine is a guaranteed good time...even if Jimmy does give me Hell about my riding! Here's a little story from moto-ing a few weeks back.

Sept. '04 - Jennifer Morton (co-owner of Baja Bound) raced (Team Dirt Rider magazine CRF250x) the "24 Hours Of Glen Helen" on an all woman's team consisting of Christine Ogren (out of TX.), Lori Conway (from Honda R&D), Heather Lewis (wife of Jimmy), Amie Mann, and Faye Campbell (wife of Johnny). The ladies rode awesome, had a few laps downtime with a mechanical issue, and finished 3rd 250 Expert.

June '04 - The Baja 500 race was a complete success! Ward from Vermont along with Kent and Mike from Cal. rode a Baja Bound Rental Racer XR650R to a respectable 4th Over 40 Pro. Quite an accomplishment for a bunch of weekend warriors!
None of these guys had ever met before arriving in Baja for the race. Baja Bound put the entire turn-key program together for them!
